Once a year, winegrowers, locals and guests celebrate the grape harvest festival in a festive atmosphere. The passionate winegrowers serve their best wines, including the young, fresh Riesling, the velvety Pinot Noir and regional rarities, which are specially prepared for this time. The streets of the old town are aglow with lights, and people dance, chat and party to the sounds of brass band music, rock and pop until late in the evening. On mild summer nights, guests can sit under the old lime trees, enjoy regional specialties and experience the diversity of Rheingau wine culture. The Stephan Oehlke winery, which has long been part of the carathotel Rüdesheim wine range, is always an important part of this festival.
