FAQ – the carathotel Düsseldorf City at a glance

Arrival

The carathotel Düsseldorf City is centrally located not far from Düsseldorf’s main train station. We have compiled all the information you need for your journey under the menu item location.

Bar

At the bar, we serve coffee specialities, cool soft drinks, the classic Düsseldorfer Alt, wine, champagne, long drinks and a fine selection of spirits.

Check-in & Check-out

The rooms are at your disposal from 14.00. If you arrive earlier, we will be happy to store your luggage for you free of charge.

Please vacate your room by 12:00 noon on the day of departure so that we can prepare it in time for the next guests.

Would you like to sleep in late and start your check-out day comfortably? On request and subject to availability, we offer a late check-out for 10,- € per hour after 12.00 (noon) and after 4.00 pm at the currently valid daily rate.

Bicycle Rental & Bikes

The carathotel Düsseldorf City has bicycles (Brompton folding bikes) that you can rent from us. You will receive more information directly on site.

Unfortunately, we cannot offer you the possibility to store your bicycles in the hotel. We recommend that you store your bicycles safely and protected from the weather at the bike station at Düsseldorf’s central train station, just a 9-minute walk from the hotel.

Fitness

Our hotel partners with John Reed Fitness and offers guests a discounted daily rate to work out. For only 5,- € you can use the gym across the street. Please contact the reception.

Breakfast

The rich caratbreakfast breakfast buffet is available daily from 06:00 to 10:30, on Sundays and holidays even until 11:00.

We are happy to offer gluten- and lactose-free products for allergy sufferers. Please let us know your corresponding wishes before your arrival, so that we can prepare ourselves optimally.

Pets

Bring your pet to carathotel Düsseldorf City! For dogs we charge € 10,00 per night. Since each animal has its individual needs, you should bring the food yourself.

You can use the in-house WLAN free of charge and without additional login data. Simply connect to the “carathotel” network, accept the terms and conditions of our network partner and start surfing.

High-speed Internet via LAN cable is also available free of charge in all rooms, in the lobby and in the conference room.

Children

Children up to 6 years stay free of charge in their parents’ bed. If you are travelling with older children, you can book our triple rooms (suites). Subject to availability and on request.

Baby cots are available free of charge in all room categories, subject to availability.
